Beginner/Novice Guitar / Guitare Débutant/Novice Mon/Lun 6:15-7:15pm

Suitable for players both new and returning to the instrument after a long break, students will learn the basics of acoustic guitar playing.  Topics include: Learning songs, chords, proper hand techniques, tuning, reading simple chord and tab sheets, and simple tricks to sound flashy. No previous knowledge is required.

Ce cours présentera les fondements de la guitare incluant les accords, les gammes, les cordes, l’utilisation du pic et l’interprétation de chansons simples sous diverses formes. Les guitaristes qui jouent déjà, mais qui manquent de pratique et désirent s’améliorer, sont aussi invités. Les participants devraient emporter une guitare, un accordeur, un capo et un lutrin.
