An Introductory Workshop to: Your Baby’s Neurodevelopmental Movements

* Did you know that when babies are kept frequently in car seats or other equipment that prop them up before they put themselves in a sitting or standing position, it could effect their neurological development?

* When children are allowed to sit up and walk when they are ready, specific reflexes and brain connections develop, setting them up for good health. 

In this experiential workshop with Yvette Halpin you will learn how cognitive brain functions- like the capacity to read, write, pay attention, self-regulate, be empathetic, follow instructions, etc, use the same brain neural connections as the sensory and motor neural circuits that have been established since infancy.

Yvette will introduce to you and guide you through these innate, genetically encoded, movements of womb and infancy - primitive reflexes, rhythmic movements and developmental movements - these neurodevelopmental movements that are responsible to help baby be born, grow and learn. She will offer many practical ways in which to support this development.
