Wellness/Fitness Program for Active Aging
This is a unique straight forward Wellness/Fitness Program that works with your brain and body to help you make healthy, permanent lifestyle changes. The program is based on “ The Life-Changing 12-Week Method – THE PROGRAM: The Brain-Smart Approach to the Healthies You” by Kelly Traver, M.D.
Each week we will explore a chapter of the program (30 minutes), proceed with smovey brain, balance, strength, and cardio exercises (45 minutes) and finish with mindful relaxation and stretching (15 minutes).
Topics covered; Personal Wellness Plan, Eating, Moving, Stress, Energy, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Sleep, Happiness, Health, Cancer, Successful Aging, Health Forever. Check www.npwalking.com for additional program details.
Homework: Each week you will be asked to read a chapter of the book, practice some of the strategies, eat a little healthier and move more.
Everyone receives:
· A copy of the book “The Life-Changing 12-Week Method – THE PROGRAM: The Brain-Smart Approach to the Healthies You” by Kelly Traver, M.D.
· Access to a private Facebook group for motivation, tips, exercises and recipes.
· Tracking sheets to record your journey and successes.
· Weekly 30-minute group session to explore a chapter of the program.
· Weekly 60-minute wellness fitness class to put the program into practice.
